Jump back in time another year. September 2010. USA. California on the way to the Yosemite NP. Image shot with my second favorite small travel camera I just bought about  a week before the trip. Despite I travelled with 2 DSLRs and a backpack full of lenses I took more than 60% of all shots with the Sony NEX 5. How come? It’s simple: In the cities like Las Vegas and San Francisco I took only the NEX to travel light. On our long beach walks I used only the NEX. With the camera stored away in a small bag I felt like a local enjoying the sunsets on the beach. Continue reading

Introduction

This is my new website. Well it is not a website it´s a blog. My first website went online about 11 years ago. I updated it from time to time but within the last 2 years I did not change a thing beside keeping my picture of the month gallery alive. There I posted my favorite picture(s) of the month plus a more or less short story. It took a while to realize that this is nothing but a blog and it would be better to have a blog instead of my website.

This self portrait was shot in an elevator in the Palace of Culture in Warsaw this February. In case that you did not figure out the camera I used here is another one. I used my iPhone to take that one during our vacation in Croatia this June.
