In Las Vegas I sounded as I’m not a real camper but I’m. Of course I love to have a kingsize bed and a big bathroom but I still prefer to travel with RVs for many reasons. One is that you do not have to adopt to different hotels every second day. The other one is that you do not have to lug around your bags or living out of your bag. But the biggest one is that you are not caged up in a big hotel. After 24h it was time to move on. We came here at lunch time and we left the next day. It was nice to see it but it somehow reminds me on the Märchenwald in Germany I have seen as a kid. There are two things I will miss though: the kingsize bed and the bathroom.

So we decided to stay in a hotel and leave our RV in the car park. I guess we are no hard core campers. It’s sound very strange to pay for a hotel when you are already paying for your RV but in Las Vegas it makes sense. They have so many hotel rooms that you can get them for very little money. At the same time they have very expensive RV parks. At the end it’s an easy decision if you have to pay $10 more for 4 star hotel on the strip. Continue reading
