NEX-5 (23mm, f/4, 1/20 sec, ISO3200)
There were some big canning factories long time ago. It all started in the early 19th century when Italian fisherman cam to Monterey and started fishing sardines. Within a couple of years Monterey became the sardine capital of the world. How do I know such a thing? Continue reading

Good Food after Horrible Whale Watching
NEX-5 (18mm, f/4.5, 1/40 sec, ISO200)

On The Beach Again
NEX-5 (53mm, f/8, 1/200 sec, ISO200)

NEX-5 (16mm, f/6.3, 1/250 sec, ISO200)
There is a certain image that comes to my mind regarding american houses. It’s the image of small white wooden houses with a porch on the front. The image above is one example. Maybe the flowers and everything is a little overdone but this was a small town on the road to Carmel with lot’s of artist. Maybe Kitsch but nice. Continue reading
