The Sunny Side Of The Street, Lost images and Stranded

What a first day in San Francisco. I can not believe what we have seen. We visited China town, took the cable car to the pier and had lunch at Alioto’s. After lunch we walked on the pier, took the streetcar and walked to Lombard street. After that we took the bus to downtown and walked around again for a long time. At the end we had coffee in a big bookstore in the Nordstrom shopping center. I have no idea how many miles we have covered walking but I think it was a lot. Continue reading
Palm Trees, Downtown and Apple

When on vacation we spend most of the time on the countryside. And this trip was not different. Beside our 24 hours in Las Vegas and the two days in San Francisco we were mostly in areas with a very low population density. We both lived in Vienna for almost 20 years before moving out and living in a small town. So in the past there was always a hunger for nature and it is still there but now we also enjoy to visit cities. Continue reading
