There is no chance to win a horse race with a Jutland horse. It’s just not the right type of horse for the job. You don’t tow a caravan with a Lamborghini either. Although it’s powerful it is just the wrong car for the task.

Snow in Austria and tons of it. This January we had lots of snow and a cold wave that lasted for more than 2 weeks. So the snow came and stayed even in Vienna which is very rare. I can’t remember when there was a white christmas though. The image below was taken around christmas. Continue reading

Three very different cameras – one location.

  • The cameras: The Fuji X100, the Sony RX100 and the Fuji X-Pro 1.
  • The location: The Natural History Museum in Vienna

I shot those cameras on different days so light is very different but my main topic is not image quality it is shooting experience. How does it feel shooting them? Do they deliver in poor light? Aircraft Museum Belgrade, Serbia (How to improve Sony RX100 RAWs)

Another business trip. This time it’s Belgrade in Serbia. Late November 2012. Cold, grey and wet. Beside a couple of shots I took during a walk through the center I did not take a lot of images. When we went to the airport to get home we saw an old airplane museum. I loved the look of the building, my colleague loves planes and we got some time to kill so we went there.  Continue reading
