Out of nowhere it is finally there: Our second trip to the USA. Three weeks again, South West again but there is one big difference. After three great vacations in Canada and the one in the USA in 2010 this is the first time we rented a car! All other vacations we very going around in RV’s. I opt for a smooth transition by renting a Full Size SUV and because this is the land of supersize I got even more: A Chevrolet Suburban. Continue reading

Driving ( RX100 ), November 2012

The picture above is not sharp or better it is unsharp but it is not totally unsharp. It is easy to see what’s in there: A couple of cars driving along the Autobahn into the setting sun. The fast AF of my RX100 focused on the dead flies on the windscreen and created a better shot than if it would have focused on the cars. Continue reading
