another year over….
A very tough one because death and disease played major roles. It affected both family and close friends. A year where I had to accept that death and disease belongs to life. No one alive today would be here if not millions died before.
When we are young death and disease mean little to us. At least for the lucky ones born in a rich country. As we grow older they become more important and we start to fear them. Till the day where we accept that they belong to life. I’m almost 44 years old now and finally grown up.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Take your time before you grow up.

I just realized that the Sony RX100 got a little too much space on my blog lately. The main reason is convenience. This camera is so small that it is almost like traveling without a camera and that’s why it is so perfect for business trips. A business trip is a business trip after all.

Greece II, The Acropolis Museum ( RX100 )

Even better than the Acropolis itself. Well almost. At least in the summertime when thousands of tourists are stuck in between the Patheon and the Dionysos temple at 45 degrees Celsius. This is one of the few museum where it is not allowed to take pictures.

Springtime in the Middle of December (RX100)

Some business trips are different. Most of the times a business trip means that you go somewhere where you have been already before a couple of times. Most of the times it is a place that is not even remotely of any interest. And if it’s winter it is very likely cold, grey and wet. In the wintertime my trips to Russia or Romania were a real highlight because there winter means real winter and I love that.
