When you are in Bangkok for the very first time it is easy to get overwhelmed with all the temples. At the end you are exhausted and of course the heat and high humidity doesn’t help either.

Same day, same city, same place. Wat Pho temple. It contains one of the biggest lying Buddha statues in Thailand. It’s 46 meters long and 15 meters high and gold-plated. That’s big and that looks truly impressive but thanks to the rather small temple it is also impossible to capture. Continue reading
