FinePix X100 (23mm, f/2.8, 1/60 sec, ISO800)
Here is another one I took that day that illustrates a real big advantage of the X100. Noise. Or better the lack of any noise. This is the quietest big sensor camera I have ever used and I think it is the quietest camera of it´s kind. With all the beeps turned off this camera is silent. I was very close to this lady but she did not realize that she got photographed. You can´t get away like that when using a Sony NEX.
I shot an image of the steaks at the meat counter in a big supermarket during our vacation in California in 2010. Right after the massive KLONK from my Sony NEX5 a woman came to me and asked if I took a photo of her. I said that I took a picture of the steaks because where I come from we do not have such steaks in the supermarket. She looked relieved and I think that she felt sorry for the poor guy from Europe or where ever Austria might be that has to take pictures of food in the supermarket.
