Pag is a small Island in Croatia but when you get there the landscape is completely different to the coast. When we left the ferry it was almost like landing on the moon. There was not one single plant! Thanks to a friend I found out that panoramas are displayed incorrectly when the internet explorer is used. Right now I have no idea how to solve this issue. When viewed full size it is correct but the thumbnails don’t work.

Maybe you recognized that the first image has a different aspect ration and a different look too. That’s because I shot it with my iPhone. I take lot’s of images with my iPhone too to be able to send it as an email while on the road and most of all to know where I have been thanks to the GPS data. This is a really great feature I want to see an every new camera. But I took this image with my Fuji X100 also so why post the iPhone shot first. Simply because I think it’s better. Here is the X100 version: I altered the Fuji version to match the iPhone version because the Fuji was too green and too light for my taste. But the main reason I prefer the iPhone version is that it includes the cloud and more of the sea.

Pag is the lovely small capitol of the island Pag. It’s not completely spoilt by tourists but that might be wrong. We went there early June. In August the picture might be different. So here is the travel top tip although you might already know it: Don’t go on vacation when everybody else does. Go in June or September instead of July or August.
Pag is famous for it’s cheese but also for very good food. You can find some very good restaurants. I loved that little shop or better the ads. Konica, Kodak, Fujifilm. It’s like a time time travel.
