The first snow if the year is always something special but this time I couldn’t enjoy it as much as usual.

New snow and sunlight what’s not to like? The day before my photovoltaic system went online. Now I can finally produce my on electricity. Well, could. Because now the modules are covered in snow and production is zero.

That was only the first snow. One day later it snowed hard for two days. I might post some images later. As a result it finally felt like a real winter, like it used to be. But of course that never lasts for long especially in December. Before Christmas there is always warm weather and so all the snow melted away.

Today it’s sunny like in those images that I took at the beginning of the month and my PV is producing electricity. I’m sure that sensation will wear down in the future but now I have to check the current status every couple of minutes. We finally got green or at least greener and that feels great.
