Green

I’m in need for spring. I’m in need for sunlight, fresh greens and warm air. After what happened within the last couple of months I really need to see new life popping up everywhere. But it will take another two months till spring will finally arrive here. I used to love winter but this year I can’t wait for spring.

But this is a photo blog so I should also give some explanations regarding the photos. They look like summer but I took them in early October 2010 before the leafs turn yellow and red. We just returned from sunny California and were very happy to have a couple of sunny days before the long and grey winter.

Of course I took sharp images of the trees in the sunlight as well but I preferred those shots. I set the camera to S-Mode and exposure time to 1/30s. That’s it. Then the only thing you need to do is to move the camera quickly while pushing the shutter.

The images transport a very positive feeling and easiness. The light green and especially the sun that you can’t see but feel because of the overexposed parts make the image. No post processing in the shots. The Sony NEX 5 colors have enough pop especially the greens. No need to change a thing.
