Skyscraper

The perfect hotel for a perfect start in our vacation in Japan. A room in the sky.

After a long search I decided for the Hankyu Respire Osaka for our first hotel for these three reasons: 1. it’s located at the Umeda station which is a big advantage for day trips to Kyoto and Nara. 2. it’s located in the same building as Yodobashi Camera Umeda and 3. it’s a real high rise building with 35 floors. And we managed to get a room in the 35th floor!

I immediately started to take pictures before the sun is gone. The view was amazing. It really makes sense to pay a little bit extra to have this view.

We waited until dawn. It’s always special when it gets dark and the lights in the skyscrapers come on. But it was time to get dinner and after dinner:

Yodobashi Time! This is like a dream.
