Sand, Sea, Sunset

Some more days left to cover from our US vacation.

I need better timing. I always come back to post those images from sunny California when I’m stuck in the grey and cold Austrian winter. Ventura to Malibu and back. I know that parts of this paradise is currently on fire and I really hope that the people who lost their homes can rebuild. It is a tragedy.

We love to come here. Austria is a beautiful country but we have no sea. We love the sea and love to walk on the beach. I can’t even imagine how it must feel to live here. To have the opportunity to walk on the beach every single day. I guess I would take morning and evening walks on every single day at least for the first two to three years. Eventually the sensation would wear off but I think it would never grow old.

Beaches and boardwalks forever! But I’m here, far away from the sea and the best thing I can do is to enjoy what I have. Both the mountains and Vienna are just short car rides away from my house so I can’t really complain.
