Sweet Thing

Finally we reached San Diego. The most Southern city of California. Next town South is Tijuana/Mexico, a small step away but one into a different world.

But we didn’t go there. I love to explore new countries but there was not enough time and I didn’t like the idea to explain that we just went there for fun and not to buy some drugs.

Of course the sky is cloudless and you should not expect anything less in Southern California. We went straight across the bridge to Coronado to see the beach. But first was the ferry landing where you have a good view of the not so impressive skyline of San Diego. I guess I got spoiled but this place needs a landmark.

Because there was nothing else to see on this side of Coronado we moved on but before we left we got ourself some local sweets: Chocolate dipped Marshmallows. This is as american as it gets and it tastes as crazy as it sounds. Sweet San Diego!
