On our first trip to the USA we came across\u00a0a very special outdoor store. Something I have never seen before in my life.<\/p>\n

The Bass Pro Shop. There were almost as many stuffed animals as in the Museum of Natural History in Vienna. And while I’m neither hunt nor fish I was truly impressed with the shop because of its sheer size. Since than we always visited one of those shops either in Manteca, San Jose or Las Vegas. And there are many more!<\/p>\n

There are Bison, mountain goats, bears (grizzly and black), cougars, fighting moose bulls and in some you can even find lions or\u00a0a giraffe.<\/p>\n

In case you had no luck in wild life watching this is the place to go. Of course there are also all kind of stuffed sharks in the boat department. There are life fishing demonstrations, a bow and arrow shooting stand and enough guns and rifles to supply\u00a0the army of a small country. It’s as crazy as it gets and it is awesome.<\/p>\n

Even if you no plans\u00a0to get a rifle to shoot a polar bear or a giant panda I recommend to step inside. It is a great experience and it is truly American.<\/p>\n
