I think we stayed at the Marina State Beach RV resort close to Monterey. There is a very big but lonely beach right behind the campsite. I took my Canon 500 plus 70-200 with me just in case that we see dolphins again. There were no dolphins but lot’s of birds. I did some bird shots and I really wished I had a 18-200 for my Sony. In that case I would have left the DLSR in the RV. I’m pretty sure that I will get this lens before my next vacation.<\/p>\n

Beside a lot of birds the beach was almost empty. I think there were no more than 10 maybe 15 people at the beach. That’s almost like on remote beaches in Ireland or Scotland. I love empty beaches and I love sunsets but the best is a sunset on an empty beach.<\/p>\n
