When it’s cold, wet and grey outside and you are not feeling well there are only two things you can do: 1. stay in bed 2. visit a museum.<\/p>\n

As you can see I chose later. The museum was the Art History Museum in Vienna. I start to consider to buy an annual ticket for both KHM ( Art History ) and NHM ( Nature History ) because both are wonderful and inspiring places. There is so much to see and even better the rooms are just beautiful. I will post more images of the last visit soon.<\/p>\n

After shooting a lot with my Sony RX100 I took my Fuji X100 this time. And because I’m still willing to learn I set it to RAW+Fine ( Velvia style ) this time. What can I say. I love the Velvia results. Still I’m a RAW shooter and so I will post process the RAW image till I got the same results the camera produces. Then I will save the changes as my Fuji X100 Velvia preset. Why I’m doing that? I see RAW as a kind of negative film. Every time the RAW converter software improves I got better results out of shots I took years ago. This fact alone is reason enough to stick to the RAW format.<\/p>\n

Regarding the two pictures: They are showing some real old toys. The first, a chariot is about 3.500 years old while the Hippo is even 4.000 years. I doubt that todays toys will survive 4.000 years. I remember that some of the toys of my childhood\u00a0did not even survive my birthday or Christmas eve.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
