In May I spent a week in Japan. Of course I ate only Sushi and Ramen but at the end of my trip I had to eat something else. Yakitori Time!<\/p>\n

Yakitori, the ultimate fast food. Japanese skewered chicken but unlike the skewers that we \u00a0used to eat in Europe they are much more than just meat and some onions on a stick. Literally all parts of the chicken are prepared either salty or salty and sweet one charcoal fire right in front of you.<\/p>\n

Liver, heart, small intestines, chicken gizzard, cartilage, chicken skin, ovary and chicken tail. Of course I had to explore them all but my clear favourites are: liver, chicken skin and the tail.\u00a0And the liver is perfectly prepared as you can see on the small drop of blood on the plate in the last picture.<\/p>\n

Japan is food heaven and there is so much more than Sushi and Ramen. Next time I know.<\/p>\n
