Gloves, Boots and Wheelbarrows

Today is Christmas but I don’t feel it. I could blame the stress at work, the warm weather or whatever but I know the only reason is me.

This year I watched an amazing TV series: Fargo. I loved the film so I didn’t think that I would like the series but I was wrong. I loved it. The first season of Fargo was the best thing in TV since Breaking Bad and season two was even better. Even better than Fargo 1 and even better than Breaking Bad!

Yesterday I bought gloves and when I went out the store the short parable (final episode of Fargo 1) that police officer Molly Solverson told prime suspect Letter Nygaard came into my mind. It goes like this: A man runs for a train. He is carrying a pair of gloves, He drops one glove on the platform but he doesn’t notice. Later on, in the train, he is sitting by the window and he realizes that he has only one glove left. But the train is already leaving the station. What does he do? He rolls down the window and drops the other glove onto the platform. That way whoever finds the first glove can have the pair. Why I’m telling you that? I want to be like the man in that parable. I’m not like him today but I try.

What about the boots and the wheelbarrows? They are not part of this story. You need to watch Fargo 2 to find out.

One last thing: When Adobe updated LR the EXIF data got lost in image export. Now they finally corrected that flaw with version 6.3. Yesterday I took the time to re-import every image of my blogpost 300 – Traveling with Fuji. It contains my favorite Fuji shots from my business trips to Asia. And now you can see the EXIF data of the images too.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your families!
