Las Vegas in KL, I can’t sleep

When I was in Las Vegas first I was impressed but only for a very short time. It’s like ice cream. You get used to it and too much of it and you can’t stand it anymore. The shopping malls and the colored fountains around the Petronas towers are just the same. It’s a little bit  of Las Vegas in the middle of South East Asia. Don’t get me wrong: The towers are impressive but I preferred the temples.

There was a band in my hotel. That night I decided to drink a beer before I go to bed.   But even though I went to bed at midnight it took me till 1:30am to fell asleep. I zapped through Asian TV channels and got a kind of “Lost in Translation” blues.
