One of the rather new things in New York is the High Line. A former body for freight trains that it now a beautiful walking path above ground.

We liked the idea and so this was something we had to see when in New York. And it is beautiful and full of interesting perspectives just don’t expect solitude. The High Line is extremely popular with tourists and citizens alike. Since I have not any special insights that I can share it is more pictures less talking this time. This is a walking path. You just enter it and walk it as long as you come to its end.

Technically it was practically one camera and one lens. I only brought my trusty X-Pro2 plus the XF 10-24/4 OIS and the XF 50/2 WR and left my other gear in our hotel room. Small and light so that it is nice to carry when you walk around all day. And there isn’t really much more that you need.

Next stop: The Empire State Building!
