Last Sundown

FUJIFILM X-Pro2 (14mm, f/9, 1/400 sec, ISO200)

The very last day of our vacation and the last chance to enjoy the wonderful view from our hotel room.

What a trip! Three weeks in the South West. We started in San Francisco and we returned here after a great road trip. Even though it was our fifth time around we still managed to see new things

It took me almost three years this time to post the pictures of this trip. The first post I wrote  in July 2016 right after our return. In the meantime I spent a vacation in South Tyrol and another one in the USA in 2018. I promise will be much quicker to post those.

In 2018 I added heavy but awesome lenses so there will be a lot of images taken with the XF 16-55/2.8 WR (the majority of them), with the XF 100-400 OIS and with the XF 90/2.0 WR. I can’t wait to post those.

But back to our hotel room in San Francisco. The last image shows my wife looking out of the window during blue hour to enjoy the fantastic view one more time. It’s beautiful and sad at the same time.

Btw: The last image is taken with the fantastic XF 23/1.4 R. A lens that I use rather seldom but still can’t sell because it is one of Fuji’s best. And that says something.
