A Day in San Francisco

This is our third time in San Francisco but we somehow always managed to miss to have a look at the port of San Francisco. Not this time.

I love the building that I first saw on the cover a Van Morrison record. It is just a beautiful building.

But to be honest I expected more. There are a lot of shops but everything is super tidy and clean. More like artisan bread or coffee if you know what I mean. Maybe I got spoiled by all those lively and exotic markets in Asia that offer so many photo opportunities.

Of course I expect the market for still alive snakes and frogs is rather limited here.

It wasn’t very busy in general when we were there so we decided to take the tram to Pier 39. They come in many different designs but I decided that the yellow-orange one below worked best with the blue sky.

I knew that I’m gonna miss those cloudless skies soon.
